2018
Speaker Pete Gaudet. He will do a clinic with members of the
Champlain Valley girls and Boys’ teams demonstrating. Pete was head men’s
coach at the US Military Academy and the assistant coach at Duke,
Vanderbilt, and Ohio State. When Coach Krzyzewski went down with back
problems, Pete was the head coach for the rest of the season. He has been
to Final Fours and NCAA Championships with Duke. His West Point teams and
Vanderbilt teams have played at UVM. Pete works with Pete Newell at the
highly regarded Big Man’s Camp. Hi is a fine clinic speaker and a great
teacher.
2017
DR. JAMES SLAUTERBECK—Arizona State University where he played linebacker
for the football team, practiced medicine for 20 years, University of Vermont
Health Network, has developed ways to help prevent knee injuries.
DAN SHEPPARDSON —Well-respected official, rules interpreter, CVU Athletic
Director, and our coaches repeatedly want him back at the Clinic.
JOHN BECKER—UVM Head Men’s Basketball Coach, 94-97 assistant coach at
Gallaudet, 97-99 head coach at Gallaudet, 04-05 assistant coach at Catholic
University, 06-11 assistant coach at UVM, 11-present head coach at UVM. 139-69
overall, 78-18 league, guided UVM to six 20 win seasons and 6 straight post
season berths (NCAA twice).
K. J. KRASCO—Middlebury Head Women’s Basketball Coach, Colby Sawyer grad in
05, 1000 point scorer, in their Hall of Fame, assistant at St. Lawrence, head coach
at Clarkson, assistant coach at Merrimack, Bowdoin’s top assistant, 4th year at
Middlebury, 40-35 and 17-8 last year.
